Andra Day Covers Billie Holiday’s “All of Me”

GRAMMY® Award-nominated singer/songwriter, activist, and actress Andra Day unveil a fiery cover of Billie Holiday’s All of Me.

Andra Day covers Billie Holiday’s All of Me for Lee Daniels’ The United States vs. Billie Holiday exclusively on Hulu February 26th.
Andra Day makes her feature-acting debut as Billie Holiday in The United States vs. Billie Holiday, a biopic centering on the late singer. Indeed, the film sheds new light on the evocative vocalist’s embattled years as the Federal Bureau of Narcotics’ target—the unit sought to imprison Holiday on drug charges. A racially retaliatory action gave her dedication to singing highly politicized songs, namely Strange Fruit, and her efforts to integrate her audiences.

Not to mention, All of Me is just the latest kick-off of a very busy 2021 for Day. She’ll be honored at the Critics Choice Association’s third annual Celebration of Black Cinema on February 2nd for her work in The United States vs. Billie Holiday. Also, already receiving an outpouring of critical acclaim, the film appears in TIME Magazine’s “Most Anticipated Movies of 2021” list.

Admittingly, it’s on our anticipated movie list also. Finally, All of Me is on the film’s forthcoming soundtrack, available now via Warner Music. Listen via your preferred listening method HERE.
