Sons of an Illustrious Father Cover The Pussycat Dolls’ “Don’t Cha”

The Pussycat Dolls released their musical megahit Don’t Cha back in 2005. The song was everywhere and whether you’d like to admit it or not, it had everyone singing along. However, as catchy as the song is the song/video concept is a dated one. Beautiful women scantily clad dancing only for the heterosexual male perspective… As Miranda Priestly said, groundbreaking.

Now, fourteen years later, Sons of an Illustrious Father gifted the world with their sultry rendition that celebrates queerness. It’s delightfully weird and darker with quite sinister like warbling tones.

The cover is accompanied by a video directed by Rafe Scobey-Thal and choreographed by Bobbie Jene Smith. The video sees Lilah Larson, Ezra Miller, and Josh Aubin vibe in the video in matching black leotards which can be described as a mood. Watch below.
