Following the release of Bittersweet, British singer/songwriter/guitarist Lianne La Havas is set to release her first album since 2015’s Blood via Nonesuch Records.
Along with debuting a new single, La Havas performed the song (along with Midnight) during her NPR Tiny Desk (Home) Concert.
The result is stunningly soulful with chill and minimal instrumentals that pair well with the current rainstorm outside. It’s a nice change of pace during such tumultuous times.
La Havas gives further insight on the track: “‘Paper Thin,’ for me, is the song that started this whole thing. It started as a distant melody in my head as I fell asleep that I decided not to sleep on.
