Brooklyn-based Public Practice have not only announced their debut album, Gentle Grip, but also a new visual for Compromised via Wharf Cat Records.
As the ’70s revival keeps multiplying (not a complaint because we’re obsessed), Gentle Grip is punchy as it oozes of pop and suffused with no wave dark disco.
Of the track, the band’s Sam York explains, “Compromised deals with the moral gymnastics that many of us struggle with daily to be a human in this world. How do we balance our desire for material pleasures with our need to be seen as moral and good?.” Listen to the infectious track below.
