New Music: Listen to Diana Gordon “Rollin”

GRAMMY® Award-winning singer/songwriter Diana Gordon has released a new genre-bending single entitled Rollin via Facet Records/Warner Records.

Perfectly blending the spirit of rock ‘n’ roll as well as grunge with a trap beat, the mesmeric and empowering track reminds us to live in the moment and to roll with the punches.
Gordon further notes, “When I wrote this record, all I could think about was the live show. It took me back to singing in the choir at my church in Jamaica, Queens. The culture of moshing feels a lot like the culture of a black church. People shaking off them demons.”

While Gordon’s new release is merely just a taste of what’s from her forthcoming (yet-to-be-titled) project, she’s also released Becoming. Diana Gordon is just beginning her reign as an alternative urban soundscape with her ability to speak the truth to power with an innovative voice that fuses genres. Not to mention that Gordon to date has several GRAMMY® Awards under her belt for her songwriting and producing endeavors. From working with Mark Ronson, Dua Lipa (Electricity) and Beyoncé (Sorry, Daddy Lessons, Don’t Hurt Yourself) and has credited work with the likes of Dev Hynes of Blood Orange, Travis Scott, Diplo, The xx’s Romy Madley Croft, Mary J. Blige, and more.
