Breakout singer, songwriter, and producer Chelsea Cutler’s been keeping busy.
Earlier this summer she teamed up with Kygo for their collaboration Not Ok.
Furthermore, she also has her partnership with Jeremy Zucker for their 5-song project, brent, which features their global viral hit You Were Good to Me.
Additionally, Cutler has just released her newest single You Are Losing Me via Republic Records.
Written and produced entirely by Cutler herself, she explains that “‘You Are Losing Me’ is about realizing what you deserve and moving on from someone who took you for granted.”
The song’s empowering lyrics will catch your attention right away, “you’re gonna wish that/ I wasn’t lovin’ someone new/ You’re gonna wish that/ I was sleeping next to you/ You’re gonna wish that/ You never broke my heart in two/ Yeah, you weren’t losing me/ When I already lost you.”
Cutler also gave a more sincere and in-depth look into the inspiration behind the song on Instagram, expressing “I know that changing my mindset and learning to love my career again will not happen overnight. But I feel so liberated by this new freedom I have to fall back in love with music. putting out this song feels like a good first step.”
