Following 2018’s album, Together Alone, Howard returns with the highly anticipated EP titled Extended Play.

Continuing with a creative progression, Howard (the moniker of project mastermind Howard Feibusch), steps further away from the delicate psyche-pop and instead shifts towards the direct structural classics of symphonic songwriting. Although touches of chamber-pop still flow within.

Taking cues from The Beatles’ White Album-era of songwriting and singing approach- as well as production hints of modernized psychedelia gives Modern Love an intermix of beautiful piano-driven pop and aural textures with dazzling resounding vocals.
Old Mountain Boy‘s stunning and almost a prelude to the eyeopening Saturn Return. Just like the title itself, it’s otherworldly and a robust arrangement of cinematic expansiveness.

Extended Play is not only an exploration of sound but also of oneself. Evolving and maturing yet often coming back to familiarity as we glance back, but ultimately advancing to the journey ahead.
